This poem is a plea to the dissociation of our culture. So often I look around and see how few are looking around with me. So often I feel so lonely in this life, and I wonder how the world feels to offer up such beautiful and life altering experiences, to be met with a numbness we don’t have to choose. This life is worth looking at with both eyes wide open, this is a reminder for all of us.
