this painting feels like a place that my soul misses. earth is undeniably beautiful, if you know where to look, but there's a place that i feel homesick for that i continue to paint. maybe if i can paint it, i can bring some of it here. this better place, where colors feel more vibrant and alive, where light always shines on water, and it whispers ancient wisdom if you have the sense to hear it. this painting feels like a memory of a place my heart yearns for. maybe a part of all of us remembers, maybe we bring more of it here every time we believe it could be real.
