now dear, play | original acrylic painting
i painted this during a big life shift, trying to embrace the act of play. there are shapes created where the sun touched the canvas, i painted only what i saw, letting myself play with the light. the result feels like the warm passing of life and the gentle flow like water, something ancient and eternal.
there’s a sense of life and death in it, but also the feeling of sunlight on skin, that warm, kind touch of the sun. the pinks and yellows remind me of a summer day, of sun on your cheeks, that soft warmth that makes you feel alive.
